How to inspect the goods of quartz stone slabs by Horizon?

1. Carefully inspect the slab’s design to ensure it matches the ordered design. Quartz calacatta designs are made by man, usually the big veins are can be same, small veins might be littile different in different slabs, but its acceptable.

2. Check the side and back prints, as well as the label and protective film, to make sure they are printed correct and in the right position, those print are usually brand names or model names.

3. Measure the size, length, width, and thickness at three points to ensure the size is accurate. there are 2cm extra in the length and width to guarantee customer will get enough sqm for usage.

4. Use a gloss meter and whiteness meter to measure the glossiness and whiteness of the slab. Horizon quartz glossiness is around 40-50, and whiteness is 80-90, higher than industrial standard.

5. Check the appearance of the quartz surface to ensure that there are no defects on the surface. There must be no cracks, chips, scratches, stains, watermarks or impurities. Run your hand over the surface of the slab to check for any irregularities or bumps. A well-polished surface will be smooth and even to the touch.
